A headline of news hit us on July 20 that about 2.5 billion people, or a third of the world’s population, need glasses but do not have access to them.
Among those people, about 624 million can not sustain their daily lives due to suffering from severe visual impairment. This fact shocked us deeply.
We felt we can't sit there and overlook it.
Let's do something NOW!
As a company with a strong sense of social responsibility, Zeelool decides to dedicate itself to this public welfare program and help the people who are seeking aid for
vision assistance. Though we are a startup with limited ability currently, we believe that our love and effort are going to make things changed.

In the current phase, we will donate every 1 cent from each sold pair of glasses. Penny and penny laid up will be many.
The donation amount is based on the total number of glasses sold.
The total donation amount is $2300 from August 2019.

Help Cure Childhood Blindness andVision DisordersThe program aims to cure hereditary childhood blindness and vision disorders, and to improve the quality of life of visually impaired individuals and their families. Since 1991, this grogram has funded scientists around the world, focusing on several approaches to healing the vision pathways. Knowledge about genetic eye diseases has increased dramatically, and treatments and cures are within reach. But more funding is needed for research to give children the gift of sight.
- Eyeglasses for Struggling Kentucky Families
The state of Kentucky ranks among the poorest in the United States. Kentucky working-poor families struggle to pay for basic needs like rent and food but have no resources for the simple, yet critical, tool of eyeglasses. For them, clear vision becomes a luxury. This project will provide new prescription eyeglasses to 217 Kentuckians so that they may navigate their daily lives, pursue education, gain employment and live more safely, securely and independently with clear vision.

actions
In the next phases, we plan to help more people around the world who suffer from vision problems in below ways:
1) Provide free prescription glasses for adult men and women in poverty, combining with basic eye exams and eye drops.
2) Arrange vision-related lectures which aim to popularize the eye care knowledge.
